Osu Tatakae Ouendan 2, Coming Next Month in May

It’s been just over a week after the PSP’s DJ Max Portable 2’s release and now here comes the sequel to the DS’ own popular rhythm game next month on May 17th. According to Famitsu, it’s pretty much the same with the tapping, sliding and spinning circles but with a whole selection of new songs and scenarios of course. Too bad because I was hoping they would add in a lot more content but perhaps they have and Famitsu hasn’t revealed them yet…

There is now support for the rumble pack, though.

The confirmed song list is now the following although artist names are guesses:

“Zenryoku Shounen” by Sukima Switch
“VISTA” by Going Under Ground
“Kibun Joujou” by mihiharu GT
“Junior ni Shoushin” by Checkers
“Shounen Heart” by Home Made Kazoku
“Go my way”
“Bambina” by Tomoyasu Hotei
“BANG! BANG! Vacance” by SMAP
“POP STAR” by Ken Hirai
“Real Life, Real Heart” Kaela Kimura
“Okuru Kotoba”

  1. I’d be happy as long as they keep the feature to skip the intro right to where the tapping begins. Not having that was the only negative aspect of Ouendan in my opinion and it was a welcome addition to Elite Beat Agents.
The only song I recognize from that list is “Shounen Heart? by Home Made Kazoku, which I believe was in the Eureka Seven OST

  2. Yeah, would come in handy for songs like RGS. Can’t wait to watch the new whacky scenarios.
